Nursery
At Threlkeld C of E Nursery we have a combined Nursery and Reception class which provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children are nurtured and cared for. Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom taking full advantage of our beautiful school surroundings. Children can join our Nursery the term after they turn 3. Both our outdoor and indoor areas are carefully resourced to engage children and promote development of key skills. If you would like to come and look round please get in touch.
We offer fully flexible childcare.
- From 8am to 5:30pm.
Fit in with work, family or school times to suit you.
Session Times:
- Monday to Friday 8:40 am-12.00 & 1.00pm-3.15pm
- Lunch: Monday to Friday 12.00-1.00pm
- Breakfast Club: Monday to Friday 8am- 8.40 am
- After School Club: Monday to Friday 3.15- 5.30 pm

The First Days
Any children wishing to join the Early Years class at Threlkeld School will be invited to attend transition sessions prior to their entry into school. These are designed around your child as every child is different and will settle differently.
Helping your child settle into school is very important to us and we are happy to work alongside you to make it as easy as possible for you and your child.
